Empower Your Teachers.
An Asset-Based + Appreciative Inquiry framework
Education isn’t broken. It’s Overwhelmed. Mechanical. Disconnected
Most PD activates the very stress responses it’s meant to solve.
Teachers leave exhausted. Initiatives pile up. Culture suffers. Teachers have nothing left to give.
Everyone feels like they’re starting from scratch yet again.
At Drift Lab, we’ve seen this pattern for 20+ years in classrooms, schools, and systems across the country.
We believe educators deserve:
Calm, grounded nervous systems
Practical, joyful tools
Asset-based frameworks that build capacity, not burnout
Ways to amplify what’s already working
We help schools shift from extractive to regenerative practices with an actual physical game, a facilitator guide, and training that supports you.
We’re educators, community leaders, systems designers, and regenerative thinkers, and we built Momentum + Overflow to open new pathways for schools.
We were - frankly- exceptionally annoyed at the lack of quality and impact that other professional developments had on our schools. They were wasting precious time and missing opportunities to leverage the power and brilliance of our school staff. Through our own experiences leading systems-level change outside of the school building, we knew that we could make something that got to the root of it all, and so we created the Momentum and Overflow programs!

A simple, sustainable way to transform your school culture.
1. Choose your tool or training
Start with the Momentum Pack or book an Overflow PD.
2. Use it with support
Run the session using your facilitator guide + join our monthly live trainings.
3. Watch your school ecosystem shift
Staff feel calmer, more connected, and more capable of building on what’s already working.
When Educators feel Regulated, Schools Transform
With our tools + training, schools experience:
Less initiative fatigue
More collaboration + trust
Stronger student-teacher relationships
Practical, joyful PD (physical game, not a deck)
Sustainable culture change
A shift from “fixing problems” to “amplifying momentum”
This is how schools move from extraction to regeneration.
Worried it’s just another PD? We’re not.
Most PD tries to fix problems, which activates:
threat response → resistance → exhaustion.
Our approach does the opposite.
MOMENTUM + Overflow PD:
regulate the nervous system
build psychological safety
use simulation instead of real-life vulnerability
shift perception before action
amplify what’s already working
This is PD that actually sticks.
With the physical cards in hand and the facilitator guide ready, you’re running a session from day one. No fluff. No over-hype. Just practice and action.
Ready to shift your staff from burnout to overflow?
We believe schools are living ecosystems.
That teachers are naturalists.
That relationships are the soil.
That nervous systems shape what we can see.
That regeneration, not extraction, is the future of education.
And that the smallest moments of momentum can transform the whole system.
